Gabriel Lemaire is a French musician born the 8th of March 1989. He is a saxophonist (alto and bariton), clarinetist (Bb and alto), improviser and composer.
He learned from Bertrand Dubreuil, Jean-Charles Richard, Francis Lecointe, Guillaume Orti and Hayden Chisholm.
He currently plays with a lot of bands going from the SOLO to the orchestra. Among them, the trio YA SO MA, the duo ARQUES/LEMAIRE, the saxophones quartet MACHAUT, MAÂT orchestra, MARCEL & SOLANGE, WALABIX, TOONS and the GRAND ORCHESTRE du TRICOT. Moreover, he works in the theater with LES OISEAUX MAL HABILLES and the performance with LA THEORIE DU NUAGE.
He co-founded the collectif les BATISSEURS DE PONTS, that organized concerts of improvised music each week in Orléans (France), as well as TRICOLLECTIF, that gathers musicians from Orléans and Paris around improvised musics.
